We’re open from 6:00am to midnight, seven days a week, and require no referral or appointment for emergency services.

Our Lowry hospital provides emergency care services 7 days a week. Our fully-equipped hospital features state-of-the-art diagnostic technology and an experienced emergency team ready to provide immediate intervention for pets in crisis.

Common emergencies

Whether your primary veterinarian is unavailable or your pet needs immediate care, we’re here to help.

  • Accidents, injuries and trauma (car accident, animal attacks, etc.)
  • Bleeding
  • Bloat
  • Collapse or unresponsiveness
  • Complications from chronic disease
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Straining to urinate
  • Ingestion of medications, poisons or objects
  • Seizures
  • Vomiting and diarrhea

Prepare for your visit

  • 01Call us immediately, if possible. We’ll assess your pet’s condition before they arrive, then act once they do.
  • 02Pack your pet’s medical records. If they’ve swallowed something poisonous, bring the remains of what was eaten.
  • 03Travel gently with your loved ones. Use a carrier if you can.

During your visit

  • 01Check in once you arrive and we'll assess and care for your companion as quickly as possible.
  • 02IV fluids, pain medication, or oxygen therapy may be given to your pet in order to stabilize and comfort them.
  • 03We will keep you in the loop every step of the way.

After your visit

  • 01We’ll send you home with a prescribed treatment plan and medication, if needed.
  • 02Follow your pet’s treatment plan and schedule regular check-ups.
  • 03Our team will coordinate with your primary veterinarian about your pet’s condition and care plan.
