Adam Prink, DVM, DACVS – SA

Dr. Adam Prink graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005, followed by a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Georgia. Following a three-year residency in surgery at the University of California – Davis, he became board certified in small animal surgery in 2010. Since his time in academia, Dr. Prink has worked in private practice as a small animal surgeon in Northern Virginia, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Chicago prior to moving to the Denver area. He has given numerous presentations on reconstructive procedures, osteochondrosis, cranial cruciate ligament disease, and elbow dysplasia.

Although Dr. Prink maintains an interest in all aspects of small animal surgery, he is especially interested in advanced orthopedic procedures, cranial cruciate ligament disease, elbow dysplasia, soft tissue reconstructive techniques, portosystemic shunts, and surgical oncology procedures. He is the author and co-author of scientific articles on medial coronoid disease and mast cell tumors published in Veterinary Surgery and Veterinary and Comparative Oncology, respectively. As a member of the Veterinary Orthopedic Society, American College of Veterinary Surgeons and the American Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. Prink attends regular conferences and continuing education courses.
