Dr. Kara Majors is originally from Lexington, South Carolina. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences with a minor in Genetics from Clemson University. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University and completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship last year at University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center.
Her professional interests include intracranial surgery and inflammatory conditions of the nervous system. She plans to pursue a residency in neurology and neurosurgery next year.
In her free time, Dr. Majors enjoys hiking with her two dogs (Benji and Moose), reading, and doing yoga.
