Dr. Kendra LaFauci received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tufts University. After a few years working in both the human and veterinary medical fields, she returned to Tufts University, this time to the veterinary school, earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Following graduation, she completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at VCA Alameda East in Denver. She then went on to complete a three-year residency in cardiology with CVCA-Cardiac Care for Pets in the Maryland/Greater DC Area and recently achieved Diplomate Status with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine-Cardiology. Dr. LaFauci is excited to return to the great state of Colorado as a member of the Petcardia team offering full-service cardiology care at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital. She enjoys the robust support of the Petcardia team that allows her to provide thorough, individualized care for her patients and their families.
