Dr. Lauren Palena was born and raised in New Jersey and completed her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science at Rutgers University – New Brunswick. She then received her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania. She plans to pursue a career in emergency medicine with special interests in ophthalmology and wildlife medicine.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking to waterfalls, playing video games and board games, and cooking. One of her favorite animals to work with are lions, but she dreams about working with snow leopards.
