Dr. Andrea Musarra grew up in Texas and following undergraduate studies had a brief career as a microbiologist working with zoonotic infectious disease for the state of Texas. She ultimately decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine and completed a rotating internship after graduation. She decided to pursue a career in emergency medicine, as it incorporates all of her top interests – surgery/wound management, cardiology, and stabilization of critically ill patients.
