Dr. Lindsay Phillips received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Michigan State University. She worked as a small animal general practitioner for four years following graduation, during which she became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner. Dr. Phillips decided to pursue her passion for surgery and completed a small animal rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in 2010 and a small animal surgical internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in 2011. From 2011 to 2014, she completed a small animal surgical residency at Michigan BluePearl Veterinary Specialists. She received her board-certification in small animal surgery in 2016. Following her residency, she remained with Michigan BluePearl Veterinary Partners and joined Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in February 2017.
Dr. Phillips enjoys performing soft tissue, orthopedic and neurosurgery. She has a particular interest in wound management and reconstruction, urinary and gastrointestinal surgery, and minimally invasive surgical techniques including laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, and fracture repair. She enjoys working closely with physical canine rehabilitation specialists to provide an optimal outcome following musculoskeletal surgery and injury.
