Living Our Core Value of Community: Our Ice Cream Truck
If outside the area, please call your nearest emergency vet.

Every summer, our ice cream truck hits the road to visit referring veterinary hospitals across the greater Denver area.
What started years ago as a simple wagon has grown into a much-anticipated tradition, with the team making approximately 50 clinic stops each year. While the ice cream is always appreciated, the real purpose is connection.

These visits give our team an opportunity to thank the veterinarians and support staff who trust us with their patients, strengthen relationships and spend time with the people who help make exceptional patient care possible.
It's also a reflection of something we believe deeply at our hospital: we're stronger together. The best outcomes happen when our teams collaborate, communicate and support one another. Whether we're working together on a complex referral case or sharing a quick conversation over a frozen treat, those relationships matter.

Of course, the truck has developed a following of its own. Dr. Dell, our medical director and board-certified dermatologist, was asked at one of the stops if he hosts children’s birthday parties. While his schedule is currently limited to serving the veterinary community, we think that's probably for the best.
