Living Our Core Value of Compassion: Launching the Values in Action Fund
If outside the area, please call your nearest emergency vet.

We know some of the most difficult moments in veterinary medicine happen when a pet needs care and a family is facing financial hardship. That's why we're excited to launch our Values in Action Fund, a charitable fund designed to help eligible patients receive needed veterinary care when financial limitations might otherwise stand in the way of treatment.
Every day, our teams guide families through complex and emotional decisions. While not every case is eligible for assistance, the Values in Action Fund provides another way for us to support pets and the people who love them during some of life's most challenging moments.
The fund is managed locally by us and supported through a partnership with myBalto, which provides the infrastructure needed to administer donations and distribute assistance. This allows our team to thoughtfully evaluate cases and direct support where it can make the greatest impact for patients and families.
Beyond financial assistance, the fund reflects something we've always believed: veterinary care is about more than medicine. It's about meeting people where they are, listening with compassion and working together to find the best path forward for every pet.
We're proud to be among the first hospitals in the Veritas Veterinary Partners network to launch a Values in Action Fund and grateful to the community members whose generosity will help make it possible. Together, we're creating more opportunities to say "yes" when pets need us most.
