Staff was calm, kind, and educated when we had an emergency involving our dogs eating rat poison. The entire staff helped us make decisions on the care of our beloved dogs with their highest level of care with our budget in mind. Things were incredibly quick and affordable compared to our old emergency vet. Everyone we were in contact with was lovely and kind. Thank you for caring for our beloved dogs in an emergency.

Dr. Lazarus was incredibly professional and kindhearted. It’s wonderful to see and feel the genuine care when they speak to your pet as if they truly understand. It warms my heart when doctors take that extra step with our pets. Even though our sweet Jax may not fully understand what the doctor is saying, it reassures us that they truly care.

One of the best vet clinics and hospitals I have been to. It is expensive but the best care in the area, if I didnt spend 10 grand in a month here, I probably wouldn't have my dog anymore and waste money if I went elsewhere. I also have not had to go back anywhere for what was treated here. Life is never perfect but this time they made it perfect for my dog and I. This place has state of the art equipment and a great staff. They will also not make you do unnecessary things. Thanks WRAH My dog and I thank you for another new year.

Bacon came into the Emergency Room, vomiting and with bloody, runny stools. Dr Corsi and Dr Allen were amazing. I will say that all of the surgical doctors were great and the techs were flexible and thoughtful. The receptionists were also very kind and considerate. Estimates, empathy, allowing us to visit, communication were at the highest standards. We are so grateful to the team at WRAH!

This Animal Hospital is one of the best hospitals out there. It’s about a 40 minute drive from where I live, but it’s worth it every time. The neurology team is amazing. They know their business and they have saved my cat more times than I know with her seizures.

The staff at wheat ridge animal hospital are compassionate and caring for each patient they come across. Dr Schmidt in neurology is very clear and thorough on what is happened, what yo expect and what is next. I am so very happy that I was sent to neurology at Wheat ridge. The prices are high, probably one of the highest in Colorado, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. In an ER I will go back to them, for sure.

Got in quickly when we needed it. Iliana at the front desk greeted me and my injured pup with compassion. Rhianna the tech was gentle and kind as she assessed my pup's injury. Dr. Gavin got down on the floor to receive my pup into his arms, making him instantly comfortable. He treated the injury and gave great, clear instructions for follow up. Everyone I came into contact with at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital was caring and kind and competent. Tater Tot is healing well.

The customer service we received from everyone from front desk, to vet techs, animal care attendants and the vet himself was hugely appreciated esp with a "slightly difficult" and fearful dog like Beans. Only drawback was the hours long wait but we understand that staffing is short and volume is high. Everyone we encountered was great.

I first found WRAH in 2020 when my newly adopted dog was diagnosed with a very rare cancer called TVT, which is uncommon in the U.S. I was incredibly fortunate to be referred to them through Golden Paws, as their oncologist had experience with this condition and was able to successfully treat it. Piper went through about six rounds of chemotherapy, and it worked, she’s been living her best life ever since. More recently, I’ve also used their emergency services for an infected eye, and once again, the experience was seamless. It’s such a comfort knowing she’ll receive excellent care and that everyone is consistently kind, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I feel very lucky to have WRAH nearby and would recommend this animal hospital to anyone without hesitation. Thank you, WRAH, for all the wonderful care you’ve given Piper over the years!
