Ruby ate a bunch of wrapped chocolates and the staff at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital were caring, calm and quick in their care for my puppy! It was on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and in the midst of lots of other critical care situations they made sure to make me comfortable with the outcome and showed care and concern for Ruby. The person who took my initial call was calm and clear about what I should do. The person who came to take Ruby back was kind and funny! The vet who came out twice to inform me of the process and to deliver Ruby back to was thorough and nice! I really appreciate the speed at which everyone moved to remove the chocolate from Ruby’s system! We were back at home preparing for thanksgiving dinner within a hour of arriving at the hospital. I hope we don’t have to come back soon, but it’s a great peace of mind that if anything does come up we have a great place to go to get great care!

We had an emergency with our senior dog, on Thanksgiving of all days. The staff was friendly and sympathetic to our plight. We would recommend Wheat ridge Animal Hospital to anyone who's fur baby needs emergency attention. On a day away from their families, the staff went out of their way to still express empathy.

Our pup was recently in because he found our stash of chocolate gifts. He received timely and excellent care. I decided to bring him to WRAH even though it is 20 minutes from our home because I had read on Reddit and heard from others about the quality of care at this hospital. It was definitely the right decision. He was in the best of hands and the level of empathy and good humor from the staff made the whole ordeal that much easier. Special shout out to Portia who made us feel at ease as soon as we walked in. The attending vet communicated with us promptly and collaboratively and we had no doubts that our pup was going to be okay. Even though our pup ingested a crazy amount of chocolate, he was able to be discharged within 24 hours, but we never felt that he was being rushed out the door. We received frequent updates and felt comfortable about the care plan. We’re so grateful that he is back home and back to his regular self. Thank you!

Only good things to say about this place. I had to bring my dog over from the western slope to see a cardiologist urgently. Everyone was so kind. They let us hole up in a private waiting area as we were there for a while. Dr Meola was the best. She explained everything so well. Very grateful to have come in on a day she was working. Thank you all!

My dog ate a whole pecan pie and had to get his stomach cleared. They we're very nice. It was 198.00$ to start the process. It went very quick. I appreciate them and I'm sorry for the amount of puke they had to clean up! Thank you!
